Bear Lake 2011

Last week we went to Bear Lake with my family. My parents own a couple of condo's up at Ideal Beach resort and it is so much fun to go up in the summer. We had fun at the beach and the kids played in the lake. The water was cold but the kids didn't seem to mind getting in and having fun. The kids also had fun playing in the sand. My dad rented a boat for a couple of hours and we all took turns going boating on the lake. We had a great time and it was so much fun hanging out with family and the kids enjoyed being with their cousins. Here are some fun pictures of our trip.

Haylee's 12th Birthday

On July 11th Haylee turned 12. I feel like Haylee has grown up so fast just in the last week. She is now in Young Women's. On Sunday she went to Young Women's for the first time. She was so ready. All of her friends are already in YW and so she was in primary all by herself for the past few months. Last week because she was almost 12 they let her go to girls camp. She had a blast. She loved getting to know all of the girls and the leaders. We are also getting her ready to go to Jr. High in a few weeks. I am excited for her and I love watching her grow and start all these new things in her life. We had a small family party for her on Sunday. She got a lot of fun things for her birthday but the highlight of her day was getting her first cell phone. I had her so convinced that she wasn't getting a phone until she proved to me that she can get good grades on her first report card in Jr. High. So, when she opened it up and saw a cell phone she was so excited. Some of the other things she got was luggage, hair straightener, I tunes gift card, clothes and an alarm clock. Super Hero Camp

This summer Ethan went to a "Super Hero" camp. A lady in our neighborhood has been doing these summer camps all summer long. Each week she does a different theme. For a whole week Ethan went to this summer camp and they learned how to be "super" friends. He learned how to be a good friend and not to be a bully. The last day of camp they had spider man come visit. He was so excited when he saw spider man and it was fun to watch him during his visit with spider man. Spider man was great. He really interacted with the kids. Here are some cute pictures with spider man.
