6th Grade Field Trip

Today I helped chaperon Haylee's 6th grade field trip. All year Haylee had been asking if I would go on this field trip with her. We went to Capital Theater to see the ballet and they performed Peter and the Wolf. It was kind of sad to think that this is the last time I will probably chaperon a field trip with Haylee. This was her last field trip in elementary school. I can't believe how fast she has grown and that she will be going to Jr. High next year. I just want to enjoy the last little bit of this year with her in elementary school.

After the ballet we went to a park to have lunch.
This is her bestie at school. They want to be locker partners next year.

This is Haylee's teacher Mr. Danielson. He is kind of goofy. They call him Mr. D

After we got back to the school. I stopped by the lunch room and said hi to Megan.

Family Fun Day

The kids had spring break last week. One of the days we decided to have a family fun day. The weather was snowing most of the day so we thought of fun things to do inside that we haven't done before. We met our good friends the Hardy's at Pirates Island in Orem. We had never been before and it sounded like a fun place. The kids had a blast. It's kind of like Chuck E Cheese but pirate themed. Ethan likes pirates and so he thought it was a cool place. After Pirates Island we went to Trafalga. We had also never been there before. Megan and Abby jumped at the chance to go rock climbing and Haylee did Laser tag. Here are some fun pictures from the day.

Megan climbed all the way to the top.
I love that my girls aren't afraid to try new things.

I was so proud of Abby for wanting to try rock climbing.
She did pretty good but got scared half way up.
